Come Sunday Morning

I loved Sunday mornings as a kid. My dad would always make pancakes, which I absolutely loved. And I still love Sundays as an adult...a day to sleep in, cozy up with the one you love, all your pets dozing around you, and the sun creeping through the trees.

Verse
It's Sunday morning
My favorite morning
I lay awake and watch you sleep
The dogs are yawning
The birds are calling
And the sun is creeping through the trees
Chorus
And I don't know just what I did
And I don't about the where's or when's
But come Sunday morning
My lovely darlin'
All I know is I got in.
Verse
Time sure flies
All those loves gone by
You're lucky in this life if you get two
You caught my eye
and you caught that sigh
and you held me all the way through
Chorus...
Bridge
Fridays always come so fast
Saturday's they never last
But come Sunday morning
My lovely darlin'
All I know is I got in.
Musical break...
It's Sunday morning
My favorite morning
I'm so glad that I crawled in
